This way I always had adequate food to keep me going and never default on rent.

Another thing I started to do was preparing marinates for my meats. I realized that I didn't always want to purchase pre-marinated meats from the food store simply because it was way more pricey so I started researching marinates that I preferred and would let my meats sit for a day then I would Ziploc them and freeze.

Last of all, when you notice what amount of cash you can save you begin to realize that fruits and vegetables are so affordable that you want to buy everything. Just be sure you buy enough because things decay faster than you think.
